Usage

Chlorantraniliprole is effective against a variety of pest species belonging to different families, including Noctuidae, Tortricidae, Chrysomelidae, Tenebrionidae, Pyralidae, and other insect families. Chlorantraniliprole has excellent penetration ability and should not be applied to plants in the two weeks leading up to fruit ripening. It exhibits strong insecticidal effects, with insects typically dying within 1 to 3 days after application of the pesticide.

Application

To control diamondback moth and beet armyworm, the recommended dosage for spraying is 27 to 40 grams of active ingredient per hectare. The efficacy against diamondback moth can reach 90% within 3 to 10 days after spraying, and it ranges from 85% to 90% against beet armyworm. Additionally, it has a supplementary effect on lepidopteran pests such as cabbage worms.

In rice fields to control rice leaf roller, apply 10 milliliters per acre using a backpack sprayer, with two rounds of spraying as standard practice. After seven days, insecticidal efficacy reaches 94.2%, and leaf protection efficiency reaches 90.0%. After fourteen days, insecticidal efficacy reaches 86.0%, and leaf protection efficiency reaches 83.9%.

For controlling the second generation of rice stem borer, apply 10 milliliters per acre using a backpack sprayer, with two rounds of spraying as standard practice. After twenty days, the efficacy against whitehead formation reaches 96.1%, and the efficacy against insect-damaged plants reaches 98.7%. Insecticidal efficacy reaches 93.6%.

Chlorantraniliprole is commonly applied to rice fields, fruit trees, and various crops.

Chlorantraniliprole has strong penetration ability. It should not be applied to plants in the two weeks leading up to their maturation, as it can pose a certain level of risk to humans when used during that period. When spraying plants with Chlorantraniliprole, it is advisable to do so before 10 AM or after 4 PM and avoid spraying during midday.

Chlorantraniliprole is highly effective, and typically, it is applied every two weeks to control insect pests. 2 to 3 rounds of spraying can alleviate pest infestations. It is recommended to wear gloves and a mask when applying Chlorantraniliprole, even though it is classified as a low-toxicity pesticide, as safety precautions should always be observed.

The residual efficacy of Chlorantraniliprole lasts for about two weeks. Before each application, the pesticide can be diluted with water to adjust its concentration. Chlorantraniliprole acts through a mechanism that paralyzes insect muscles, leading to insect death. In general, insects usually die within 1 to 3 days after consuming the pesticide.
